As one of only three operators authorized directly inside Everglades National Park, our experienced captains take you through sawgrass marshes to get face-to-face with alligators, rare birds, and iconic wildlife. Located on the historic Tamiami Trail (US-41).

Our signature guided tour through the legendary River of Grass. Skim across sawgrass marshes, stop at alligator holes, and spot rare birds like the Purple Gallinule. Includes live alligator presentation.
Secure your spot on the water. Walk-ins are welcome daily from 9 AM to 5 PM, but reservations guarantee your preferred time.
We recommend polarized sunglasses to see beneath the water, sunscreen, a hat, and a camera. In winter months (Nov–Feb), a light jacket is advisable during breezy morning rides.
Airboat aircraft engines are naturally loud as they power through the sawgrass. Coopertown provides complimentary ear protection for all adults and children before departure.
Because we operate directly inside Everglades National Park, the National Park Service collects an $8.00 fee per person (16+). Free if you hold a valid National Park Pass.
